How To Cook Tawa Biryani Recipe Video Tutorial



Ingredients For Tawa Biryani:


  1. Sufi cooking oil ¼ Cup
  2. Darchini (Cinnamon sticks) 2
  3. Laung (Cloves) 3-4
  4. Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 2
  5. Tez paat (Bay leaves) 2
  6. Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp
  7. Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 small
  8. Tamatar (Tomato) chopped 1 small
  9. Adrak (Ginger) julienne 1 tbs
  10. Hari mirch (Green chilies) 2
  11. Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 tsp
  12. Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
  13. Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste
  14. Simply Sufi boneless handi 250 gms
  15. Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 tbs
  16. Dahi (Yogurt) 3 tbs
  17. Podina (Mint leaves) chopped ¼ Cup
  18. Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped ¼ Cup
  19. Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste
  20. Garam masala powder ½ tsp
  21. Lemon juice 1 tbs
  22. Dahi (Yogurt) 2 tbs
  23. Zarda ka rang (Yellow food color) ¼ tsp or as required
  24. Podina (Mint leaves) chopped
  25. Pyaz (Onion) fried 1-2 tbs
  26. Chawal (Rice) Basmati 1 Cup (soaked & boiled until ¾ th done)
  27. Pyaz (Onion) fried ¼ Cup
  28. Sufi cooking oil ½ tbs

Directions For Tawa Biryani:


  1. First of all on a griddle, add sufi cooking oil, cinnamon sticks, cloves, green cardamom, bay leaves, cumin seeds and mix well.
  2. Add onion and fry until golden brown.
  3. Add tomato and mix well.
  4. Add ginger and mix well.
  5. Add green chilies and mix well.
  6. Add coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well.
  7. Pat dry simply sufi boneless handi with a kitchen towel or tissue paper.
  8. Add simply sufi boneless handi and mix well until changes color.
  9. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well.
  10. Add yogurt and mix well.
  11. Add mint leaves, fresh coriander and mix well.
  12. Add salt,garam masala powder and mix well.
  13. Cover and cook on low flame until chicken is done.
  14. Add lemon juice, mix well and cook on high flame until oil separates.
  15. In yogurt, add yellow food color, mix well and add in it.
  16. Add mint leaves, fried onion, boiled rice, fried onion, mint leaves, remaining boiled ice, remaining yogurt+food color, fried onion and sufi cooking oil.
  17. At the end cover and cook on low flame for 6-8 minutes.
