How To Cook Stuffed Bhindi & Pyaz Recipe Video Tutorial


Ingredients For Stuffed Bhindi & Pyaz:


  1. Take Bhindi (Okra) 250 gms 
  2. Take Pyaz (Onion) 3-4 small 
  3. Take Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste 
  4. Take Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 & ½ tsp 
  5. Take Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp or to taste 
  6. Take Dhania powder (Coriander powder) 1 & ½ tbs 
  7. Take Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp 
  8. Take Hari mirch (Green chili) crushed 1 & ½ tbs or to taste 
  9. Take Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 & ½ tbs 
  10. Take Sarson ka tel (Mustard oil) 1 tbs 
  11. Take Olive oil 1-2 tbs 
  12. Take Pyaz (Onion) chopped 1 large 
  13. Take Tamatar (Tomatoes) chopped 2 medium 
  14. Take Pani (Water) 2-3 tbs or as required 
  15. Take Garam masala powder ½ tsp 
  16. Take Hara dhania (Fresh coriander)

Directions For Stuffed Bhindi & Pyaz:


  1. First of all cut okra from the top, bottom and slit with the help of the knife.
  2. Cut onion into four halves & set aside.
  3. Then In a bowl, add salt, cumin seeds, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, green chili, garlic, mustard oil and mix well.
  4. Then filled okra and onion with prepared spice mix & set aside.
  5. Then in a pot, add olive oil, onion and fry until lightly golden.
  6. Then Add the remaining prepared spice mix, mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Then Add tomatoes and mix well, cover and cook on low flame until tomatoes are soft.
  8. Add water and mix well.
  9. Then add stuffed okra & onion, cover and steam cook on low flame for 12-15 minutes or until tender.
  10. At the end Add garam masala powder and fresh coriander, cover and simmer for 2 minutes & serve!
