How To Cook Chicken Rezala Recipe Video Tutorial


Chicken Rezala Ingredients:

  1. Take Pyaz (Onion) chopped 2 medium 
  2. Take Hari mirch (Green chilies) 5-6 
  3. Take Lehsan (Garlic) 8-9 cloves 
  4. Take Adrak (Ginger) 1 inch piece 
  5. Take Kaju (Cashew nuts) soaked 14-15 
  6. Take Khashkash (Poppy seeds) soaked 1 & ½ tbs 
  7. Take Pani (Water) 1-2 tbs 
  8. Take Simply sufi karhai cut 12 pieces 
  9. Take Dahi (Yogurt) whisked 1 & ½ Cups 
  10. Take Javatri powder (Mace powder) ¼ tp
  11. Take Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste 
  12. Take Jaifil powder (Nutmeg powder) ½ tsp 
  13. Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 tsp
  14. Take Sufi cooking oil ¼ Cup 
  15. Take Laung (Cloves) 5-6 
  16. Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 2 
  17. Take Tez paat (Bay leaves) 2 
  18. Take Badi elaichi (Black cardamom) 2 
  19. Take Hari elaichi (Green cardamom) 4 
  20. Take Sabut lal mirch (Button red chilies) 3-4 
  21. Take Thai red chilies 4-5 
  22. Take Pani (Water) lukewarm ½ Cup or as required 
  23. Take Garam masala powder 1 tsp
  24. Take Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Directions For Chicken Rezala:

  1. First In the chopper, add onion, green chilies, garlic, and ginger, chop well & set aside.
  2. Then In spice mixer, add cashew nuts, poppy seeds, water, grind well & set aside.
  3. Then In a bowl, add simply Sufi karhai cut,grinded onion paste, yogurt, mace powder, salt, nutmeg powder and black pepper powder, mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.
  4. Then In a pot, add Sufi cooking oil, cloves, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, black cardamom, green cardamom, and mix.
  5. Then Add whole red chilies, Thai red chilies and mix well.
  6. Then Now add marinated chicken pieces, mix well and cook for 10-12 minutes.
  7. Then Add remaining marinade and grinded cashew+poppy seeds paste and mix well.
  8. Then Add lukewarm water and mix well, cover and cook on medium-low flame for 10-15 minutes then cook on high flame until oil separates.
  9. At the end Add garam masala powder, fresh coriander & serve.
