Ingredients For Guar ki phali:


  1. Take Guar phali (Cluster beans) ½ kg
  2. Take Boiling water as required
  3. Take Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 large
  4. Take Hari mirch (Green chilies) 2
  5. Take Cooking oil ½ Cup
  6. Take Lehsan paste (Garlic paste) 2 tbs
  7. Take Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tbs
  8. Take Tamatar (Tomatoes) peeled & chopped 2 medium
  9. Take Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
  10. Take Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tbs or to taste
  11. Take Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
  12. Take Hari mirch (Green chilies) julienne 2-3
  13. Take Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1-2 tbs
  14. Take Hari mirch (Green Chili)
  15. Take Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped

Directions For Guar ki phali:


  1. First of all Cut cluster beans from top and bottom.
  2. Then In boiling water, add cluster beans, onion, green chilies and boil for 40-50 minutes then strain & set aside.
  3. Then Remove layers of each cluster beans and mash it with the help of the masher & set aside.
  4. Then In a pot, add cooking oil, garlic paste and fry for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Then Add tomatoes and mix well.
  6. Then Add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  7. Then cover and cook on low flame until tomatoes are soft.
  8. Then add mashed cluster beans, mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  9. Then Add green chilies and mix well.
  10. Then Add fresh coriander and mix well.
  11. At the Last Garnish with green chili, fresh coriander & serve.
